The photographs of Tom Gallagher, taken between 1938 to 1963, depict scenes from the town of Castlerea in county Roscommon as well as some from Tom’s time spent at NCAD in Dublin. Most had never been developed before.
The exhibition literature focused on the images of Tom, himself. The yellow of Roscommon County was used as a nod to the location of the exhibition.
Also included as visual elements were snippets of measurements written in Tom’s hand, extracted from plans
drawn up for his woodwork and boat building projects.
